I coached badminton at Nairobi Westbrook Athletic Club from 2004 to 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Njeri
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.
What gifts mean to Njeri: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
