Njeri Florence Wekesa

Coached basketball for 39 years in Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kingsway Boxing Gym
  • Since 1987
  • English, Spanish
I've coached basketball at Kingsway Boxing Gym since 1987. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.

More about Njeri

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Njeri: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
