Njeri Faith Athumani
32 years teaching computer science in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Middle School
- 2007 to 2025
- English, Swahili, French
For 18 years I was the computer science teacher at Embakasi Middle School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 450 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Njeri
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
