Nithya N. Namboothiri
Calligraphy artist in Varanasi
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Bayview Studio
- 1997 to 2014
- English, Tamil
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1997 at Bayview Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Nithya: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
