Nisha H. Goyal
Weaving, done properly
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Since 1987
- English, Hindi
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Varanasi, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
More about Nisha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nisha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
