I taught Spanish at Ludhiana High School in Ludhiana from 1991 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,000 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Nisha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Nisha: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
