Nirmala Rojina Basnet
Guitar player and teacher in Biratnagar
- 🇳🇵 Biratnagar, Koshi, Nepal
- Since 1986
- English, Nepali
I play guitar and oud. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Nirmala
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Nirmala: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
