I taught agriculture at Good Shepherd Boys' School in Kolkata from 1997 to 2006. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Nirali
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
