Nilesh G. Chavan

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
  • Old Summit Pottery
  • Since 1979
  • English, Gujarati
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1979 at Old Summit Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm learning the guitar.

What gifts mean to Nilesh: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
