Nilesh E. Kulkarni
Cycling coach, Mumbai Athletic Club
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Athletic Club
- Since 1998
- English, Marathi
For 28 years I've run the cycling program at Mumbai Athletic Club in Mumbai. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Nilesh
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Nilesh: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Soweto.
