Nikolai Ivan Zakharov
Music and art teacher, Lviv
- 🇺🇦 Lviv, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine
- Brookfield Academy
- Since 1990
- English, Ukrainian
For 36 years I have been the music teacher at Brookfield Academy. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Nikolai
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Nikolai: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
