Gospel player and teacher in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Orchestra
- Since 1981
- English, Turkish
I play gospel and tabla. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Nihal
I write my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
