My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1986 in Cebu City and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Nicole
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
