Nicolás K. Ríos
Biology and economics teacher, Madrid
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Hope Technical College
- 1985 to 2013
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Nicolás
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Nicolás: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me biology in 2018 at Hope Technical College. I still remember the time the class pet escaped Truly.
