I've coached chess at Bogotá Youth Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Nicolás
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Nicolás: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
