I've coached netball at Bayview Swimming Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Nicholas: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
