I taught English literature at Valley View Primary School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 2012 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Nhung
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Nhung: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I'm a lawyer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom! Greetings from Lagos.
