Ngozika Uche Uzor
28 years teaching economics in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Beacon Academy
- 1978 to 1992
- English, French
Beacon Academy was my second home. I taught economics there from 1978 to 1992, mostly mixed-ability classes.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ngozika
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
