Ngozi Zainab Bankole

Painter, potter and teacher at Ikeja Pottery

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Ikeja Pottery
  • Since 1980
  • English
I'm a jewelry artist based in Ikeja. I've been making things since 1980 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I also teach a weekly class at Ikeja Pottery, which keeps me honest.

More about Ngozi

I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Ngozi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
