I've been a nurse for 30 years, most of them in dialysis at Hồ Chí Minh City Health Center in Hồ Chí Minh City. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I carry a notebook everywhere. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
