Nga Liên Doan
Volunteer mentor with Mount Pleasant Association
- 🇻🇳 Da Nang, Da Nang, Vietnam
- Mount Pleasant Association
- 1995 to 2003
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 370 people through Mount Pleasant Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nga
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Nga: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
