Netsanet Bezawit Getu
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- 2003 to 2019
- English, Amharic, French
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Hawassa and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
More about Netsanet
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Netsanet: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
