Neil P. Mercado
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇦 Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Old Sydney Repairs
- Since 1991
- English, Filipino
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Sydney and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

What gifts mean to Neil: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
