Neha K. Thakur
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Belfast Trades Guild
- 1984 to 2006
- English
I've worked in leatherwork from 1984 to 2006. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 510 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Neha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
