Neha K. Maurya

15 years teaching English literature in Madurai

  • 🇮🇳 Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India
  • Silverlake Technical College
  • 2001 to 2011
  • English, Hindi, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 210 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Neha

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
