Neema Faith Athumani

Cycling coach, Zanzibar City Community Club

  • 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
  • Zanzibar City Community Club
  • Since 1995
  • English, Spanish
I've coached cycling at Zanzibar City Community Club since 1995. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
