Neelam N. Rajput
Drama and biology teacher, Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pune Boys' School
- Since 1982
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,850 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Neelam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Year 7 class in 1985. You believed I could do it before I did Truly.

You taught me drama in 2003 at Pune Boys' School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
