Neelam L. Prajapati
Thatching for 27 years in Aurangabad
- 🇮🇳 Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India
- Since 1999
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1999. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Neelam
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Neelam: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
