Neelam L. Negi
Teacher at Mangaluru Secondary School, loves early years
- 🇮🇳 Mangaluru, Karnataka, India
- Mangaluru Secondary School
- 1983 to 2020

I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Neelam
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Neelam: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
