Neelam A. Joshi

Teacher at Thiruvananthapuram Middle School, loves home economics

I teach home economics and environmental science at Thiruvananthapuram Middle School, Thiruvananthapuram. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Neelam

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
