For 34 years I have been the music teacher at Saint-Denis Academy. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Ndeye: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
