I've worked in painting and decorating from 1999 to 2017. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nazrul: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
