Naveen M. Bajpai
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Meadowbank Repairs
- 1981 to 1990
- English
My trade is upholstery. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Salem and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Naveen: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
