I've been a nurse for 43 years, most of them in midwifery at Bangkok Regional Medical Center in Bangkok. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
