Nathaniel Kwabena Tetteh
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇭 Obuasi, Ashanti, Ghana
- Obuasi Repairs
- Since 2004
- English, Twi
I've worked in weaving since 2004. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Nathaniel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Nathaniel: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
