Nathan K. Stewart
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Meadowbank Works
- Since 2002
- English
I've worked in weaving since 2002. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 480 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Nathan
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Nathan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
