Natalie Parks
Taught English literature at Chicago Academy
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Academy
- 1988 to 2014
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Natalie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Natalie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me English literature in 2025 at Chicago Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Thank you again.
