I teach special education at Lafayette Boys' School in Lafayette since 1985. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
