For 15 years I've run the boxing program at Birmingham Jacaranda Swimming Club in Birmingham. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
