Natalie E. Rivera
Biology teacher at Beacon Technical College, 1988 to 2003

I taught biology at Beacon Technical College in Houston from 1988 to 2003. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Natalie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Natalie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me biology in 1998 at Beacon Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
