I've coached cricket at San Jose Football Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Natalie
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Natalie: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
