I taught French at St. Mary's Primary School in Dhaka from 2005 to 2013. Most days I taught primary school children, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Nasrin
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
