Nargis Sultana Barua

Physical education and biology teacher, Dhaka

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Redwood High School
  • 1989 to 2003
  • English, Bengali
For 14 years I was the physical education teacher at Redwood High School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Nargis: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
