Nargis Ali
Professor of economics, Kolkata University
- 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- Kolkata University
- 2001 to 2022
- English
My subject is economics, and for 21 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Kolkata University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Nargis: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
