Naresh D. Rawat
Art and English literature teacher, Surat

I teach art at Brookfield Girls' School in Surat since 1991. Most days I teach teenagers, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Naresh
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Naresh: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
