Naomi Powers
Traditional drumming player and teacher in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Quartet
- 1996 to 2007
- English
I play traditional drumming and tabla. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Naomi: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
