Naomi G. Spencer
Professor of materials science, Summit College
- 🇬🇧 Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Summit College
- 1999 to 2018
- English
My subject is materials science, and for 19 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Summit College.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Naomi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Naomi: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
