I've volunteered with Kitakyushu Volunteer Corps from 1978 to 1991. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 40 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Naoko
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Naoko: A gift would go toward supplies for our weekly sessions.
