Nao Tomoko Ando

Mathematics teacher at Kobe High School, 2014 to 2023

  • Kobe High School

For nine years I was the mathematics teacher at Kobe High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Nao

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Nao: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2022 at Kobe High School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
