Nandini C. Subramanian
Master of electrical work, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Little Salem Shop
- Since 1990
- English, Malayalam
My trade is electrical work. I opened my own shop in 1990 in Salem and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nandini
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nandini: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
